How many of you now trade better since playing here?
gosh..i'm trading a lot better...its the stoopid market thats keeping me down..lol.
Not me, I came here to learn how to daytrade since I usually have longer time horizons. I've learned a lot though.
thats the truth......it really isnt the trader..... but the game and time its played........
play one in 1999-2000 and won.....10k......majority had a gain unlike now where most dont.....same time frame....could buy options as well.....won with over 2mill starting from 100k
if you look at market chart you can see why.....also most in training did better then now once again its the market and minimal gains though diversity........should buy one stock at a time
that why they say good luck......as luck has so much to do with it if your looking to win this by short term gains

well..i'm glad someone agrees with me so many times..lol.must be a hurry,hurry,hard day is it..lol.. for the record i have 171 trades made-still open on 12 shorts and 2 long...u do the math...and i havnt closed a position at a loss yet...my one stoopid long i'm out 13 thou and i think its goin into bankruptcy....another 6 thou. soooo..if it wasnt for this hard learned mistake i'd be sitting about 120 000 in portfolio. still aways out from leaders but respectable i think.
i agree with your 1 or at least 1-5 plays at a time lowrider...i took a shotgun approach in contest but theres no way one can keep up with DD on more effectively..this game is wearing me out.
Trading does wear you out, I agree totally. The market never sleeps but humans have to....well at least once in a while.

No, has not really helped me. I would like it better if we could trade options, because that is something I don't do in my real account (have to set up for it-and just have not got around to it), so I woud like the practice.
I do think it is helpful for people with no previous trading experience, who just want to get comfortable with how it works.
